We’ve pushed boundaries for what is possible with this platform and our HT500 turbo kit takes this to the next level. While the B48 engine does flow very well without needing much work to the cylinder head, the bottleneck has always been the OEM turbo setup.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e Switching to our MGT2867R got to the limit of what was possible with an OEM exhaust manifold, however even with this setup the EMAP vs IMAP ratio still increases dramatically in the higher RPM. Switching to this full frame setup totally transforms the B48 from an engine with a power band similar to that of a diesel engine to that of a proper race derived power unit.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe change in performance is dramatic while still keeping a sensible boost threshold of 3000rpm.
